The majority of the encounters in "They Saw Sasquatch" were submitted by residents of the Southern Oregon area where we spent years hiking the beautiful and rugged mountains. We personally had several mysterious events which can only be logically attributed to the actual existence of a creature the likes of which is so human-like, that we now are able to accept the many reports as likely! Included are encounters reported by a U.S. Forestry Service agent, two Bureau of Land Management agents, a fireman, a sheriff's deputy, a doctor, ranchers, rural property owners, an accredited Sasquatch hunter, hikers and full-time goldminers, as well as some tourists and river rafters. Some of our contributors have chosen to remain anonymous, so we have protected their identities.
