In Senate of the United States, December 18, 1817. Mr. Eppes submitted the following motion for consideration: Resolved, that the Committee on Public Lands be instructed to inquire into the expediency of extending for a farther time an act entitled "An Act, Further Extending the Time for Locating Virginia Military Land Warrants, and for Returning the Surveys Thereon to the General Land Office"; and also, the act, entitled "An Act Authorizing Patents To Issue for Lands Located and Surveyed by Virtue of Certain Virginia Resolution Warrants."
